Julie Angelis Boehler (Percussion)
Julie, a native of Worcester, MA, is principal timpanist of The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own". She is also a member of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestra Elizabeth Shulze. Her love for percussion began at the tender age of eight when her mother, a former bugler for the Leicester (MA) All-Girls Drum Corps, brought her to her first Drum Corps practice. She and her husband Joe have a daughter who happily drums on her crib, the cat, and just about anything else she can bang on.
